Still Offline...

My computer at home is still acting shitty. So, here I sit at the library. Oh well, at least I can get on the net some way!! I hope all of you are doing good. I hope to be back soon!

Google Reader

Does anyone use this? I am currently giving it a try. One thing I noticed right away is that I have a couple of blogs on my bloglines that do not have a feed that the reader will pick up. What the hell? I don't know if I will use this service or just keep my bloglines. Just figured I would give it a try. If anyone else has used it, let me know what you think of it!

Houston...We Have A Problem!!

There is something odd going on with my computer. First off, I had problems connecting to the net the other day. So, I did a system restore and that seemed to help. Yesterday, the same thing happened. I was unable to get online all day. I kept trying to figure out what the hell was going on...but no luck.

Well, last night, I got the bright idea to transfer some photos to a jump drive. This process was going painfully slow so I hit 'cancel'. DUH! All of the photos that had transfered were on the drive. I deleted them! What the hell!? So, I realize that all of the originals are on another program. I try to open that program and it works for about 2.5 seconds before it shuts down. By this time, I am ready to rip my hair out.

So, I do another system restore. Here we are at 4:55 a.m. in the morning. I open the browser and with some luck I finally get connected to the net. One problem...all of my bookmarks are erased! What the hell is going on?! I do not have a clue as to why everything is going haywire. I am going to do some more work on this damn computer today. Hopefully, I will at least be able to save some of my files before I do something stupid again!

Although I feel bad for the donkey, this is kinda funny...

Organizing..

I woke up this morning expecting Hammy to go to work. Well, they called and told him not to come in. So, I took my ass back to bed for a while. Most of the day was unproductive. We ate a really good lunch. I bought a new kind of frozen pizza (yeah, lots of nutrition!) yesterday. I popped it in the oven and POOF! Lunch! It tasted really good for a frozen job.

After lunch we had planned on going down to the pool. Wouldn't you know it...Some of Fuzzy's friends were down there. Fuzz was not home. He must have given out that damn pool key to another one of his pals. Well, we kept waiting for them to leave. They stayed most of the day until a big storm was about to blow in. Yesterday was the same thing (expect no rain). It looked like a community pool in our back yard! There were a ton of screaming bratty ass kids. I had the AC on so it drowned out most of the noise.

When everyone left, I decided to go out and sit on our back patio to make a phone call. I looked out the window and noticed that my favorite chair (my throne) was completely moved in another spot. I phoned up Fuzz and asked him if someone was up on our deck screwing around. He informs me that one man that was there took his daughter up on our deck and sat her in the chair. Apparently, he was trying to rock her in the chair and calm her down. Fuzz told them that is not his patio, so they moved over on his side. What the hell?! I was not in a good mood yesterday. It's probably a good thing I did not look out and see them on my deck. Lord only knows what I would have said to them.

Anyway, back to today's events...
I managed to organize my closet! I got rid of two bags of clothes that no longer fit me. I will be giving them to my Mom. If she cannot wear them, she knows a lady that can. The only thing left to do in that closet is to go through my shoes on the top shelf. I didn't use to have that many pairs of shoes. Since I have been selling Avon...shit! I have a ton now! So, that is on the agenda for another day.

Another thing I have to do is clean out Hammy's closet. I did it once, but everything is all out of order now. Not to mention, I keep a lot of our winter blankets on the top shelf. Some of those are starting to cascade down every time I open the damn door! His closet should not take too long. I might do that tomorrow.

I recently saw some really nice wallpaper that I liked. I saw it in a Subway shop. Yeah, I know. But, the paper is fake brick and it looked real! I would not mind having some of that to put on one wall of my kitchen. I found a website that had some really nice ideas. Most of it is out of my price range. So I might have to wait a bit on something like that. Besides looking at the wallpaper, they had some beautiful murals as well. Hell, I didn't even think of that! I am just looking around for some fresh decorating ideas. It's been two years since we have lived here, I think it's time to look at something new for a while.

This Guy Is Good....

Rainy Thursday...

It's been raining like hell outside for most of the day. I had to go to the doctor this morning and then run a few errands this afternoon. I don't know if it is because it's the day before a holiday or what. People are driving like tards!

Anyway, the doctor's visit went really well. My blood pressure was fine. They checked my eyes and told me that I can see better than most people. I told her about the muscle spasms and the constant headache in my right temple. I am supposed to have a CT scan next week. She also wants me to have an upper GI and an x-ray of my gall bladder. She gave me a medicine for the acid reflux. She also found that I have an ear infection. Yes, lovely! I did not even know I had one!

When I first got there, they did a pulse ox reading. The girl read it wrong and had it as 86! I thought...WHAT THE HELL! The doctor ordered me to do a breathing treatment. She asked me just how much I smoke. I smoke a pack a day. But, the doctor was wondering about the original reading. Here the girl was reading it upside down! The actual reading was 98! So, I am good to go with that. Whew!

According to their scales I lost 17 pounds. I checked my weight here at home and my scales say I lost 7 pounds. I don't know which one to believe! I will find out in a week or two when I go to the other doctor. I wonder whose scales are right? Hmmm...

I really like this doctor. She is very thorough when she checked me out. I really hope that nothing is going on with the pain in my temple. She also suggested that I talk to my Psych doctor and have him change my medication. I told her that I told him last time that the medicine did not seem like it was working. He did not want to change it to something else for fear it would cause bad side effects. Affects? I always get those two mixed up. Anyway, I go see him next week and I will tell him what has been going on.

Whats Been Going On...In Bullets...

• Last week my Mom fell down at work and hurt her knee. I took her to the E.R. and we spent damn near 10 hours waiting. They said that she bruised it really bad. She had to go to work again this Monday. No time off. Bastards...
• I have not been feeling good lately for some reason. I have been having headaches every day. Today was really bad. I had zero energy. I managed to get some house cleaning done yesterday. It's a good thing too. Today I did not do too much of anything.
  
• Fuzz the landlord has been bitching about the dog digging in the yard. Granted, it is a pain in the ass when she does that. I have tried to fill in the massive holes. I have no idea what possesses her to go excavating in the yard. Anyway, she dug up all the shit I put in the one hole. Apparently Fuzz was at the neighbors house and happened to witness Cuddles digging. He called me on the phone and told me to go get the dog, he can see dirt flying up between her legs. Shit...
• I have been wanting to make Fuzz take a "dirt nap". He has been a pain in the ass for the last couple of weeks. Yesterday evening I wanted to take a shower. I couldn't because the asshole was filling up the pool and we had no water pressure. He will usually leave the water run for about an hour or so. He does not care if other people have things they would like to do. Douche...
• Tomorrow I have a doctors appointment. Hopefully she can give me something for my headaches.
  
• I have to go to Mom's house to help her get ready for the 4th of July party. I figure some fucktards will be there. They are relatives of some of Mom's friends. I wish they would NOT call those idiots to come over.
